Fall 2017

The Fall 2017 edition of ÇàÇà²Ýapp State’s award-winning Forward Thinking research newsletter highlights some of the important research being conducted by the University faculty and ÇàÇà²Ýapp, including contributions to the international LIGO Scientific Collaboration whose recent detection of gravitational waves may reshape the way we understand our universe.

University researchers are putting grants to work advancing STEM education for the next generation – both by expanding access for underrepresented groups and developing new teaching models that integrate mathematics into earth and environmental sciences.

In this issue you’ll also read about research into the roles training and experience play in training future leaders by focusing on the Boy Scouts of America, and efforts to place highly-skilled teachers into under-served school districts via the Newark ÇàÇà²Ýapp Urban Teacher Residency Program.
