Where to Start?
Undergraduate Orientation takes place before the start of your first semester.
First – know your CWID number and claim your NetID. You will need your NetID in order to and the Orientation Portal.
Next – regularly check your app email and complete your “Ready to Soar” Orientation reservation in the Orientation Portal.
Finally – complete all remaining steps on the Orientation Portal.
Fall 2025 New Students
You are assigned to an Orientation day based on your incoming student status. You will confirm your assigned Orientation day on the Orientation Portal. Undergraduate Orientation for new app enrolling in Fall 2025 will take place on:
Tuesday, July 29 – Transfer Commuters
Wednesday, August 20 – Freshman Commuters
Thursday, August 21 – Freshman Commuters
Friday, August 22 – Freshman Commuters
Monday, August 25 – Freshman Residents + Commuters
Tuesday, August 26 – Freshman Residents + Commuters
Wednesday, August 27 – Transfer Commuters + Residents + Athletes & Bloomfield Orientation
Fall 2025 classes will begin Friday, August 29, 2025.
