Computers
- Desktop computers are available in the reference area on the main floor of the library.
- ÇàÇà²Ýapp users can use their NetID to log in to these computers. For more information (including computer availability, visit the IT Public Computing Lab and Laptop Lending page.
- A limited number of desktop computers are also available for visitors. Visitors can bring a current photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport, student/employee ID) to Laptop Lending. A lab assistant will note the visitors’ information (first and last name, ID #) and then bring visitors to the reference area to log them in with a guest account.

Laptop Lending
Laptop Lending
- IT provides laptop computers to borrow for use in the Library with a ÇàÇà²Ýapp State ID card.
- Laptops may be checked out for four hours (with the possibility of renewal if laptops are available) from the laptop lending lab in room 132 on the main level of the library, near the elevator.
- Print jobs may be sent to the printing lab and may be picked up there.

- Scanning is free and does not require a ÇàÇà²Ýapp State ID card.
- Scanners can be found near the Access Services Desk and in the Reference Area on the main level of the library.
Microform Reader/Scanners
Microform Reader/Scanners
- Microform readers/scanners are available to scan pages from microfilm and microfiche on the lower level of the library.
- For ÇàÇà²Ýapp, microform copies cost 10 cents per page. The scanner service for microfilm/fiche is free.
- Faculty, staff and doctoral ÇàÇà²Ýapp may request microform items to be copied for them by completing the . (No charge for three articles or 50 pages per week).

- The Viewing Rooms are equipped with DVDs, VCRs and video monitors/televisions. .
- The Listening Rooms have equipment for listening to CDs, audio-cassettes and records (LPs). .

- Students may borrow DVD players, camcorders, and external drives from the Information Technology Division through the AV request form on the Reserving AV Equipment page.

- The library has Polycom cameras and Sony 4K 65 inch flat screens located in the three Collaborative Spaces on the Lower Level, and in Room 139A (the Green Screen Room) which can be used with Zoom or other video conferencing applications.

- 3 in the Pollack Computer Center (1 for ÇàÇà²Ýapp Campus users and 2 for Bloomfield Campus users)
- 1 on the second floor outside of Room 204
- 1 on the lower level in the Learning Hub
- If you need to print when the library is closed, printing is available in COHL Room 137.
